Person-level activity does not show whether a customer organization is still using the product; accounts gather everyone who called webcount.group() for the same id, and one person can belong to several accounts. Membership requires an identified user, so anonymous visitors are never members.
The top cards are account count, accounts active in 30 days, members, and account types. Open a row for 30-day activity, top events, hierarchy, members, and traits.
Metrics & definitions
Health is 0–100, and only when the account has a last-seen time. The share of members active in 30 days contributes 40 points, the share of active days in those 30 contributes 30, and recency adds 30 if last seen within 7 days, 15 within 30 days, or 0 after that.
| Field | Source | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Type and id | webcount.group(type, id) | Events carry type:id. An identified user becomes a member |
| Traits | Passed on the call, or edited in the drawer | Stored as JSON. You can set a parent account |
| Activity | Events on that account | Active members in 30 days are distinct identified people |
Sort by Last active, Members, or Health. The type filter lists types that have already appeared.
How to use it
- After login, call
webcount.group('company', 'acme', { name: 'Acme' }). Later events in that session stay on the account. - Server events can carry the same account field when only the backend knows the organization.
- Set a parent in the drawer for a store under a region, or a team under a company.
- Switch funnel or retention identity to account when the question is about the organization. See Measurement × Behavior.
Access & limits
Owners, admins, and analysts can edit traits and the parent. Web, App, and mini program share an account when they send the same type and id. A call before login does not create a member; the drawer says there are none yet.
FAQ
Why is the list empty? Nothing has called group() or sent an account on a server event. Pageviews alone do not create accounts.
Why is health blank? The account has no last-seen time, so TapCub does not invent a score.
