Business goals
This is the same data as ConsoleWeb analyticsGoals, and edits on either side show up on the other. See Goals. It sits in the business menu so you can read it next to revenue and funnels.
ConsoleAll-platform analyticsBusinessGoalsMetrics & definitions
The conversion rate divides by unique visitors in the selected dates, not by sessions. Revenue is added only when the goal has Track revenue on and a Revenue property set. It sums that property on matching events. It is not the order ledger. Order amounts are in Commerce & revenue.
| Rule | What matches | Extra limit |
|---|---|---|
| Page | Exact path, prefix, or wildcard | No property filter |
| Event | Event name | One property=value per line; all must match |
| Revenue | A numeric event property | If disabled, the revenue card is a dash |
Cards show total conversions, converting visitors, overall rate, and revenue. Select a row to limit the trend and the source, entry page, country, and device breakdown to that goal. Period change follows the report comparison.
How to use it
- Click New goal, choose type Event, and enter the signup event name. To count money, turn on Track revenue and name the property.
- For a page, use exact match for a thank-you path or a prefix for a section such as the blog.
- Turn off Enabled on a goal you are not using. The definition stays, and it drops out of the cards.
Goals installed by an industry pack appear in this table. See Industry packs.
Access & limits
Owners, admins, and analysts can create, edit, and delete. Viewers can read. Page goals fit website paths; App and mini program goals should be events. Goal revenue uses the raw property value and is not converted by exchange rate.
FAQ
It does not match commerce revenue? Goal revenue sums a property on matching events. Commerce reads materialized purchases and refunds, converted into the base currency. Do not compare them as one number.
The rate looks low? The denominator is every unique visitor in the range, including people who never had a chance to hit the goal. For step-to-step drop-off, use Funnels.
Commerce & revenue
Amount, currency, and order id come from properties on the purchase event, not from a guess based on pageviews. Browse, cart, and checkout stay behavioral events and only feed the funnel.
ConsoleAll-platform analyticsBusinessCommerce & revenueEvent and property names are on the Commerce tab of ConsoleAll-platform analyticsConfigurationBusiness settings. Defaults are purchase, refund, revenue, currency, and order_id.
Metrics & definitions
Amounts convert into the site base currency, CNY unless you change it, using the rate on the day of the order. Orders that cannot be converted are called out. Gross merchandise value is successful payment amount. Refunds in the same period are reported separately and are not subtracted.
| Metric | Source | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue, orders, buyers, average order | Order ledger | Purchase rows. Average order is revenue divided by orders |
| Paying rate, revenue per user, per buyer | Orders plus actives | Paying rate is buyers divided by active users in the period |
| First buyers, repeat rate | Order ledger | Repeat rate is people with at least two purchases, divided by buyers |
| Refunds | Refund rows | Count and amount |
| Cart abandon rate, left-behind value | Behavior events | Sessions with add-to-cart and no purchase. Left-behind value uses value, or price times quantity |
The purchase funnel is per session: view item, add to cart, checkout, purchase. Those event names are editable in business settings. Item, category, and brand ranks come from the line items on the purchase. Lifetime value groups people by first-purchase month and shows cumulative revenue per person. The score grid is in RFM.
How to use it
- On payment success, send a purchase from the server with order id, amount, and currency. Send a refund with the same order id.
- Use the order id as the dedupe key so a retry does not create a second order.
- Put line items in an
itemsarray if you want item, category, and brand ranks. - Saving a new base currency or commerce mapping in business settings rebuilds the ledger in full automatically. To rebuild at any other time, click Rebuild orders. The page shows when the ledger was last updated.
Collection is documented in Server events.
Access & limits
Anyone who can open business analysis can read the report. Rebuilding the ledger and editing the mapping need an owner or admin. Purchases from web, App, and mini program land in one ledger and keep a platform field.
FAQ
The page is empty? The range has no purchase event, or the name does not match business settings. The empty state prints the event name TapCub is waiting for.
Abandonment has numbers and revenue does not? Cart events are behavioral. Revenue exists only after a purchase is materialized. A browser cart with no server purchase looks like this.
