Overview
App analytics appears once a native app source is registered on the project. The page header can filter by platform or a single app, and that choice stays as you move between reports.

A Dashboards group appears only when a board is assigned to this shell. Privacy center is visible to owners and admins only. Sharing is not in this sidebar. It lives under mini program analytics. See Sharing. Dig deeper at the bottom of the overview links into all-platform analytics: event analysis, funnels, people, dashboards, and creating an alert. It also links to the email digest.
Where to start
- Register the app id and install the SDK under ConsoleApp analyticsConfigurationSDK code. Shipped native SDKs are Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS. See SDK overview.
- Open Realtime and confirm a start event arrives.
- Then read Users & retention. To put the app next to a website or mini program, go to Multi-platform overview.
Platforms are in Platforms. Counting modes are in Counting modes and App metric definitions. Preset event names are in Preset events & properties.
Realtime
The windows run from seconds to half an hour. Use them to check an install or spot an incident, not as a daily report. Daily new and active users are in Users & retention.
ConsoleApp analyticsOverviewRealtimeThe mini program entry is ConsoleMini program analyticsOverviewRealtime. The page is the same; only the platform scope differs. A platform or single-app filter in the header follows you to other reports.
What the report shows
| Card | Window | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Online active, online new | Last 30 seconds | Subjects with an event, and how many of them are first seen |
| Starts, active | Last 5 minutes | Start count and active subjects, compared with the same five minutes yesterday |
| Crashes | Last 5 minutes | Count of $app_crashed |
| Starts per minute | Last 30 minutes | Starts each minute, with active subjects overlaid |
| Top 5 events | Last 30 minutes | The 5 most frequent custom events. Preset names that start with $ are left out |
| Channels or scenes | Last 30 minutes | Channels in the app view, scene values in the mini program view |
The page refreshes about every 10 seconds, so the numbers move. vs same time yesterday compares with yesterday's same five minutes, not all of yesterday. The online count in the overview header uses the same definition as Online active here and refreshes more slowly.
How to use it
After install, look for $app_start or $mp_launch. If the crash card rises, open error groups in Stability.
