The collector stores a $ name as a system event only when it is on this list. Any other $ name loses the prefix and becomes an ordinary event. Which of these a given SDK sends automatically is in SDK overview. For example, current Android builds need you to forward lifecycle calls and report crashes yourself.
Apps
| Event | Group | Use |
|---|---|---|
$app_install | Install | Sent on first launch. Attribution reads only this event |
$app_start / $app_end | Session | Cold or hot start, and end |
$screen_view / $screen_leave | Screen | Enter and leave a screen |
$app_click | Interaction | A click |
$app_update / $os_update | Version | App upgrade, OS upgrade |
$app_crashed / $anr / $ui_freeze | Quality | Crash, main thread not responding, UI freeze |
$user_engagement / $rage_tap | Interaction | Engagement, repeated taps |
$deeplink_launch / $push_click | Open | Deep link, push tap |
$in_app_purchase / $ad_impression | Commerce | In-app purchase, ad impression |
$fps_sample / $memory_sample | Performance | Frame rate and memory, when performance sampling is on |
App screens use $screen_view. Do not send the website pageview name from an app.
Mini programs
$mp_launch is a cold start. $mp_show and $mp_hide are foreground and background. $mp_view_screen and $mp_page_leave are pages. $mp_click is a click. $mp_share is a share. $mp_add_favorites is adding to favorites. Clicks are off by default. Share and favorites need the page lifecycle wrapper.
Properties on every event
Common keys include $lib, $app_id, $app_version, $os, $device_model, $device_brand, $network_type, $carrier, $channel, $screen_width, and $screen_height. Mini programs also send $scene, $mp_platform, and $share_distinct_id. The devices report reads several of these. See Devices.
Which reports they feed
- Crash, not-responding, and freeze events feed error groups on the stability report. The custom
$app_errorfeeds the Custom errors tab on the same report and does not affect the crash-free share. See Stability. - Start, frame-rate, and memory samples feed launch time, frame rate, and memory on the stability report.
- HarmonyOS collects only what your adapter implements.
- Remote config can drop names or turn off performance sampling. A drop in the report after that is the switch, not a new definition.
