Every web analytics page uses the same date, comparison, and filters in the header. Each report’s definitions are in Web metric definitions.
Dates, comparison & filters
Date and comparison sit on the header of each report, for example:
ConsoleWeb analyticsOverviewPresets are today, yesterday, last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, this month, last month, this year, all time, and custom. The shortcuts T, Y, W, and M switch to today, yesterday, last 7 days, and last 30 days. Comparison is off, previous period, or the same period last week. Active filters show as tags you can dismiss, or clear all at once.
On pages, sources, audience, and similar tables, clicking a row adds that dimension as a filter and the tag appears in the header. Moving between web analytics pages keeps a hostname filter and drops the others.
Sharing & export
ConsoleConfigurationSettingsThe Public sharing tab creates a read-only link, with an optional password, and modules you allow: overview, pages, sources, audience, and bots. You can cap how many days the viewer may see. Filters for a module you did not allow are dropped, so editing the link cannot pull a slice that is not shared.
Table export offers CSV and XLSX. XLSX is built on the server, at most 50,000 rows at a time. Larger exports are under:
ConsoleAll-platform analyticsDataData exportHow to use it
Set the dates and the comparison first, then click the row you care about to narrow the range, and open a related report under the same conditions. To hand someone the daily numbers, prefer the link from Data report (column choices are in the address) or a public share link. Past the table export cap, use the async export in Export.
Limits
Performance and Errors have no comparison in the header. All time is at most 731 days, in line with the longest retention. A share page is read-only. It cannot edit goals or filter definitions. Only owners and admins can change the share switch. Viewers can read reports. The agent-only role cannot open these pages. Timezone, exclusion rules, and domains are in Project settings, not in the header.
FAQ
I clicked a source row. Why is the filter gone on Realtime? Changing pages keeps only the hostname. Other dimensions apply on the current page, or you keep the address that already has the filter.
Can a public link show the visitor list? No. The modules you can share are overview, pages, sources, audience, and bots. Sessions and visitors are not included.
