The numbers below are the defaults in code, and the console labels the tiers Free, Pro, VIP 1, and VIP 2. An operator can change them in system settings. The limits that apply to your account are the ones on the usage page.
Two subscriptions
- The analytics plan covers web, app, and mini program events, retention, members, and the open-API rate tier. Open ConsoleAnalytics plan & usage.
- The chat plan covers agents, conversations, model calls, the knowledge base, and translation. Open ConsoleChat plan & usage.
- A free analytics tier does not force chat onto a paid tier, and the reverse is also true. Quotas and expiry dates do not move together.
- When a paid grant expires, that product falls back to the free limits. Site retention is clamped to the plan cap (a site with a platform override is left alone).
Default analytics limits
The public pricing page describes free retention as about 6 months, which is the 180 days in the plan matrix.
For count limits, 0 means unlimited. Alert channels and monitors are the exception: 0 means unavailable and -1 means unlimited.
| Tier | Sites | Events / month | Retention (days) | Platforms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 10 | 500,000 | 180 | Web only |
| Pro | 25 | 1,000,000 | 365 | Web, mini program, app |
| VIP 1 | 50 | 3,000,000 | 730 | Web, mini program, app |
| VIP 2 | 100 | 10,000,000 | 1,095 | Web, mini program, app |
The same matrix also defaults to these switches (Free / Pro / VIP 1 / VIP 2):
- Members per site: 1 / 3 / 10 / unlimited.
- Funnels: 3 / 20 / unlimited / unlimited. Dashboards: 1 / 10 / unlimited / unlimited. Saved insights: 20 / 200 / unlimited / unlimited.
- Identified mode and autocapture: off on Free, on from Pro.
- Monitors: unavailable on Free, 20 on Pro, unlimited on both VIP tiers. Alert channels: unavailable on Free, 2 on Pro, unlimited on both VIP tiers.
- Weekly and monthly email reports: off on Free, on otherwise. White-label sharing and priority support: both VIP tiers.
- Open-API rate tier: free, pro, or vip (both VIP plans share the vip tier). The numbers are on API 401 / 403 / 429.
Default chat limits
Free chat is 100 conversations a month. Conversations are summed across every project the site owner has, for the calendar month in the site time zone.
| Tier | Agents | Conversations / month | Retention (days) | Model calls / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 100 | 30 | 30 |
| Pro | 3 | 1,000 | 90 | 300 |
| VIP 1 | 10 | 5,000 | 180 | 2,000 |
| VIP 2 | 50 | 20,000 | 365 | 10,000 |
Model calls count translation and automatic replies together. 0 would mean the platform model is unavailable on that tier, and -1 would mean unlimited. All four tiers above are finite. Two-way translation and removing the Powered by badge start at Pro. Knowledge-base items default to 20 / 200 / 2,000 / 10,000. Proactive invite rules default to 1 / 10 / unlimited / 50.
Metered overage is off by default. While it is off, conversations already open continue at the cap, and a new visitor conversation is rejected. The bubble falls through to the offline form. See Billing & quotas.
How usage is counted
- Analytics events accumulate for the calendar month in the site time zone, on a counter for the owner. The plan field is documented as a human-event quota. In bot mode "drop", a request recognized as a bot does not take this count. In mode "separate", a row written to the bot table still passes through the same quota check.
- After the cap, collect requests still return
202and the event is not stored. The website keeps loading. The usage page shows an over-quota notice. The counter resets on the 1st in the site time zone. - Autocapture is dropped entirely when the plan or the project has it off. Mini program and app events are dropped entirely when the platform list does not include them.
- Creating a project past the site cap is rejected with
QUOTA_SITES. - A project's own retention cannot exceed the current analytics plan cap. Chat history cannot exceed the chat plan cap. Deletion is described on Retention & deletion and Privacy & compliance.
Upgrade, renewal, and expiry
Buying a higher tier starts that tier immediately for the period length (30 days monthly, 90 quarterly, 180 half-yearly, 365 yearly). Unused time on a lower tier is queued to start after the higher tier ends. It is not discarded.
If a higher tier is already active, buying a lower tier starts when the higher tier ends. It does not downgrade you today.
Quarterly and half-yearly periods are hidden on the pricing page by default, and the API rejects a period that is not shown. Monthly and yearly are shown. Period discounts are operator settings. The yearly price is derived from the monthly price and that discount.
Prices
The free tiers are 0. The public homepage lists analytics Pro from $9 a month and chat Pro from $12 a month, which matches the default monthly prices in code. Amounts for the higher tiers, the yearly discount, and payment methods are on the pricing page. An operator can change the defaults, so this page does not copy a price list that can go stale.
