TapCub supports private deployment: analytics, behavior analysis and live chat can all run on your own servers or private cloud, and your data never leaves your network. The TapCub engineering team handles installation and day-to-day operations — you only provide the servers.
Who it is for
- Strict data compliance: finance, government, healthcare, education and other industries that must keep visitor and user data in their own data center or a designated cloud.
- Intranet or private networks: business systems that cannot reach the public internet, where analytics and chat must run inside the network too.
- High data volume: large daily event volumes that need dedicated compute and full control of data retention.
For most websites, apps and mini programs the cloud version is the better choice: it is ready faster and there are no servers to maintain.
Recommended servers
Reference sizing by daily event volume. All are 64-bit Linux servers (Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04, CentOS Stream 9 or equivalent). Final sizing is agreed before deployment, based on your traffic and retention period.
| Size | Events per day | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 1 million | 1 server: 8 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD |
| Standard | 1–10 million | 2–3 servers: 16 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD each |
| Large | Over 10 million | Sized per project, with multi-node scale-out |
You will also need:
- A domain for the console and data collection, with an HTTPS certificate.
- Private networking between servers. To measure public websites or apps, the collection endpoint must be reachable from the internet.
- Temporary remote access for our engineers during deployment (or your own ops team can follow our instructions).
What we provide
The private edition has the same features as the cloud version. We schedule upgrades for you, so your team never has to maintain the code.
How to apply
Get in touch through Contact support with your industry, expected data volume and environment (own data center, public cloud or private cloud). We will follow up with a deployment plan and a quote.
